Human Rights Internship in Sarajevo

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina Judicial and Legal Reform Section conducts a state-wide trial monitoring programme of criminal cases, from the investigation stage to the execution of criminal sanctions. The Mission uses these  monitoring findings to promote the necessary judicial and legal reforms and to provide assistance and advice on human rights conventions and obligations to authorities at all levels of government. Applications for internships with the Judicial and Legal Reform Section are accepted on a rolling basis. Preference is given to candidates with a university qualification in law, fluent English, a demonstrated commitment to human rights and rule of law work, and the ability to commit to an internship of six months duration.
