Annabel Egan successfully defended her doctoral thesis yesterday on
'Constructive Engagement and Human
Rights: The Case of EU Policy Towards China'. The external examiner was Prof. Jan Wouters, of the Catholic University of Leuven. The internal examiner was Prof. Ray Murphy, who is acting director of the Irish Centre for Human Rights. Congratulations, Annabel.
