Karadzic's Website

It seems that Karadzic has (had) a website: http://dragandabic.com/. It has been suggested that I call this an 'alleged website'. But it looks credible. Anybody for alternative medicine?
Thanks to Joe Powderly and Melissa Hacking.

  1. One of my trustworthy Serbian source tells me it's a fake website that was only created yesterday.
I haven't checked myself but it looks too "good" to be true in a way, doesn't it?

  2. The website's definitely fake.

The Telegraph runs a story today which says that Mladic gave information on Karadzic's whereabouts to "save himself".

  4. It is clearly fake as it has changed in the last few days - is Karadizc working on it from his cell?

  5. With regard to the tip-off from Mladic comment I don't believe that's correct as Serbia has too much to lose not to arrest Mladic also. Now that Boris Tadic is in charge I don't believe that deals like that would be struck nor would Mladic turn in Karadizc as this might risk damaging his own reputation among hardliners who see both him and Karadizc as heroes. I read an article in the Sunday Times where the Serbian authorities said that Karadizc had called one of his family members from a number registed to Dabic and it was this that led them to him. At the same time however, this doesn't exactly fit with the idea that it was the change in government that was behind Karadizc's arrest - it would be something of a coincidence for him to have slipped up just when the poltical will was there to arrest him.
